The next Long Night of Research will take place on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the joint campus of the University of Klagenfurt and Lakeside Park.
Visitors are invited to explore the latest developments in science across 106 research stations, including our Station E06, hosted by the City Science Lab (CSL).
The City Science Lab builds bridges between research and urban life, actively contributing to Klagenfurt’s path toward climate neutrality. During the event, our interdisciplinary team will present the lab, its vision, and its ongoing projects.
We invite you to share your ideas on our interactive board, test your knowledge with a climate quiz, and engage with hands-on climate games.
Across the station, visitors will be able to explore different project areas that reflect the diversity of the City Science Lab, including developing utopias for Klagenfurt together, KlimaFair: The Game, sustainability, circular economy and energy security, the CSL-AAU overall project, the Smart Climate Lab in collaboration with the City of Klagenfurt, cycling in the city, as well as SoKPol – Sustainability and Aspire.
There will also be a small space for reading and creativity for younger visitors.
Join us for an evening of exchange, creativity, and collaborative thinking about sustainable urban futures.
