As part of her position as a senior scientist at the City Science Lab (since March 2025) and the Department of Psychology, Felicia Winter is currently pursuing her doctorate with a focus on environmental psychology topics after completing her psychology studies. Her dissertation examines the role and influence of utopias and utopian thinking on climate-related collective action. At the same time, she is completing her master’s degree in Science, Technology & Society Studies at the AAU. In addition to the individual psychological perspective, she is also interested in the social and structural influences that are necessary for overcoming the climate crisis. As a member of the City Science Lab at the University of Klagenfurt, she contributes the perspective of psychology and supports the city of Klagenfurt in achieving climate neutrality.
