Since March 2025, Wolfgang Lattacher has focused, as a Senior Scientist at the City Science Lab, on the transformation of companies and the city of Klagenfurt from a circular economy perspective. Working on his habilitation at the Department of Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship, he contributes his expertise in business model innovation, knowledge spillover, and collaboration between established companies and start-ups. Lattacher studied business and economics at the University of Klagenfurt, where he completed his PhD sub auspiciis praesidentis in 2022. He subsequently gained experience in the tourism and mobility sectors by advising more than 50 hotel businesses on innovation, digitalization, and sustainability agendas, and by developing a business model for a mobility lab.
