Nadine Thaler joined the City Science Lab – Univ. Klagenfurt as a Pre-Doc in March 2025 and is a member at the Department of Cultural Analysis at the University of Klagenfurt. She studied Applied Cultural Sciences at the University of Klagenfurt and has spent many years working in the field of architecture and built environment mediation in Carinthia. Her research focuses on urban studies, with a particular interest in creative placemaking, urban agriculture, and participatory processes. In her dissertation, she explores how design and artistic practices can foster future-oriented urban planning and development in Klagenfurt incorporating diverse perspectives (more-than-human).
